This beautiful little gem of a motel is perfect for a quick overnight or could even accommodate several days. The rooms are clean, simple, and just large enough. The motel is located right across the street from a bridge crossing the animas river where you can wander in the park, put a tube in the river for a float, or just soak your feet. It’s well priced, well run, clean, and smells great
For the price, omg, this place is perfect. We were shredding Purgatory this weekend, and this place exceeded alll expectations. We will definitely stay here again!
We had a last-minute change in our vacation and needed somewhere to stay for the night to get a hot shower and warm bed. We loved our stay, the friendliness of the owner/operator, his sweet girls and dog. The price was very good, king bed, a kitchenette, hot showers. Rustic rooms, . We highly recommend a stay here. Visited 7/14/2025. Even our Battle Rattle Rooster was welcomed. Thank you again for a much needed peaceful night's rest

Although I was a little unhappy about being switched rooms at the last minute, the later room was very cozy and warm. The owner let us use his cabin space to cook, which we were very grateful for.
Nice place to stay. All the major hotels in town looked super busy, so I stopped here. Nice, clean, and quiet room. Probably at least 50 to 75 dollars less than some of the major chains in town. Would definitely stay here again.
This little place is so amazing! Our check in was fast and she was so kind. Our room was so cozy and comfortable and I could tell that someone worked really hard on making it that way. The art was awesome, the decor gets an a+ from us. There was also a gazebo area that was so nice to relax at with a chair swing and furniture to sit on. I can't forget the fairy lights in the tree...there is just a nice calm about the whole place. It is also close to good food places.
We had a wonderful stay at this charming motel in Durango! They were incredibly accommodating with my two Great Danes, which I truly appreciated. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The location was also perfect—close to plenty of restaurants, shops, and other amenities. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean, welcoming, and pet-friendly place to stay!
